Life groups are small groups of people regularly
spending time together and relating to one another
in the context of their relationship with Jesus Christ.
A Life Group is any group that meets at least once a month under the direction of an approved life group leader for the purpose of making and building disciples of Jesus Christ. Almost anything that draws people together can become the framework for a Life Group.
There are four basic elements which are common to small group ministry- Worship, Bible Study, Sharing and Prayer. Traditional Home Life Groups incorporate all of these elements. Interest Groups and Task Groups will include some of the elements, perhaps different ones at various times. "Aren't these the same things that we do in church?" you might ask. Well, yes. But in a small group there is more opportunity for participation and for developing meaningful relationships.
Life Groups are offered in 3-4 month semesters. You can sign up for a life group through the connection card or online during the months of April, August & December. Each member is encouraged to either sign up for a group or to renew their commitment to the group.
